Threat Management - Tenacity
Tenacious - persistent in maintaining, adhering to, or seeking something valued or desired. The synonym of tenacity is courage. When I think of tenacity, I think of the little fighting off the big, like a Boston Terrier backing down a Rhodesian Ridgeback. Tenacity comes from force of will. It may be fueled by fear but it certainly isn't expressed that way. How strong is your will to win a fight?
When faced with a threat, will you attack with all the force, all of the fortitude, that you have available? If you can answer yes to that, then when you attack, do not stop. There is no stop, time out or cease fire until the threat is completely destroyed. At this point, the legal principle called "disparity of force" usually comes up. The principle means that legally, when defending yourself, you can use only a similar amount of force that a threat is using on you. This is a fine idea to discuss after you have been killed, since you didn't completely and ruthlessly attack, you hesitated and allowed the threat to escalate the level of force right over the top of you. I've found it is much more advantageous (and healthy) to win the fight without regard to legal principles. Then, after I've won, I have plenty of time for debates on disparity of force.
Do not concern yourself with some rule that the threat is not going to follow. But, know that the threat is absolutely expecting that you will follow the rules. The threat thinks you are a sheep. This gives you an advantage that once used, can be maintained. Just do not quit. Decide, act, utterly destroy the enemy. You may well be scared and you may not have all the skills you'd like, but you have the force of your will on your side. There's nothing wrong with being indignant and insulted that a threat would bother you - make sure you show how much you are insulted and do it quickly. There are no rules at all. Do whatever it takes to win. Tenacity will overcome adversity.

I like your style, the fact that your site is a little bit different makes it so interesting, I get fed up of seeing same-old-same-old all of the time. I've just stumbled this page for you
